Pembelajaran Kreatif pada Bidang Matematika, Akuntansi, dan Arsitektur Berbasis Komunitas di Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Surabaya

Inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini menyoroti penerapan strategi pembelajaran kreatif dan interdisipliner untuk mendorong pendidikan inklusif bagi anak-anak dari komunitas marjinal di Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) RW XII Putat Jaya, Surabaya, kawasan yang dahulu dikenal sebagai lokalisasi Dolly. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah memperkuat motivasi belajar sekaligus meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dengan mengintegrasikan bidang matematika, akuntansi, dan arsitektur ke dalam aktivitas yang menarik dan kontekstual. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran layanan partisipatif (service learning) melalui kolaborasi antara dosen, mahasiswa, staf TBM, serta Dinas Perpustakaan Surabaya. Rangkaian kegiatan mencakup persiapan bahan ajar kreatif, mendongeng, pemodelan arsitektur berbasis kerajinan, simulasi numerasi dan literasi keuangan, serta evaluasi reflektif. Enam sesi tatap muka melibatkan 60–70 anak dengan dukungan orang tua dan pemangku kepentingan lokal. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kehadiran, dari sekitar 10 menjadi 30 peserta per minggu, disertai bertambahnya minat membaca, keterampilan aritmatika dasar, kebiasaan menabung, serta kesadaran akan konsep rumah sehat. Integrasi storytelling (bercerita) dan craft art (seni kerajinan) terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan partisipasi aktif. Program ini juga merevitalisasi fungsi TBM dari ruang baca pasif menjadi pusat produksi kreatif yang dinamis. Kesimpulannya, pedagogi kreatif berbasis komunitas dan kemitraan multipihak dapat memperkuat praktik pendidikan inklusif berkelanjutan di kawasan urban marginal.
